Masters of the Spirit World (MSW): The Masters of the Spirit World have been asked to tell you the definition between knowledge and wisdom when it comes to being here.

A soul enters a body in order to experience things, in order to learn lessons. Each lesson is chosen because it is something they wish to experience. They may have seen others experience it while they were watching from above. They may have been down on earth before and seen others experience something and wish to have the experience themselves.

A soul has universal knowledge of everything that everybody has experienced. It is like reading a book and being able to know that something is possible. But as an individual soul, they do not have the wisdom of what it is like to have experienced that particular lesson. The only way to obtain that is by entering a physical body and going through the steps of learning the knowledge, then integrating it into their very being so that it becomes wisdom. And they may take that wisdom then and apply it in every circumstance that they have.

When a soul has gone through a lesson on Earth, they may have gone all the way to learning the wisdom of that but they may only have had the experience and not know why they have experienced it, such as a woman who marries an abusive husband.

Her lesson is to learn her own self-worth but as she goes through the experience of that marriage, and learns that she does not have to stay in the relationship and she leaves the relationship. But she doesn’t know anything other than that she can leave the relationship. She has the knowledge of the fact that she may withdraw from the abusive situation but she doesn’t know why she may withdraw. So she has not gained the wisdom of the experience. She would then, in most cases, if she has time in that lifetime, marry another abusive husband because she still has not learnt her own self-worth. And she would go through that lifetime possibly learning at some point that she does know that she is as important as he is. Then she has gotten the wisdom of the situation.

But there are times when a person in the human form, when they are in the human form, never understands the lesson that they are working on. So when they leave their bodies, go back into the soul form, they have knowledge of what that lesson is about but they haven’t learnt the wisdom that they may gain from that lesson. In most cases, they will then come back into a human form, reincarnate to experience that lesson again.

Some people have referred to this as having karma that they have not discharged. We do not call it karma, because to us karma implies a negative. Once a soul has returned to its celestial form, to home, it is in nothing but unconditional love where judgment does not exist — merely evaluation.

When the soul returns home, having had the experience without going all the way to the wisdom, they may get help from their advisers, to understand why they went through the experiences they did. When they do that, they may get that moment of enlightenment once they are back home. “Oh, the reason that I was able to leave those relationships was not just because I have freedom of choice, but in addition to freedom of choice, I also recognize that I was as important as he is. That I do not have to do what he wanted, that I do not have to become slave to that man. That is why I experience.”

That soul has then gained the wisdom of the lesson they begin on earth and would not have to come back to earth to repeat it because they would know in the case where they are being controlled or abused, they are giving their power to that person because they feel that they are less than that person, that their soul is not as important as that other person. They are not honoring themselves as a soul. Once the wisdom is obtained, whether it is back home with help of others, or going through a reincarnation to finally come to the realization on earth, the wisdom is permanent with them once they obtained it and they do not have to repeat it again.

We have been asked many times about the word "karma" and what it means to us. We have given you one example of what it is. To us, it is just uncompleted business. It is not anything that is negative. It is not a failure. It is just that the amount of time needed to come to the realization, to turn the knowledge into wisdom, ran out for that soul in that one particular body and then the soul would choose to do it again.

Your language has many interpretations across your planet so that karma has become a word that means many things to many different people, particularly across to certain groups of people because of their religious beliefs or because of their teachings. We do not mean to say they are wrong in the way they use the word. We just say we would not use it to mean what they mean.

Lee: What you have just said does remind me of swimming. We can read about swimming, we can see others swim, but it doesn’t mean we would know how to swim. So that is like the difference between knowledge and wisdom.

MSW: Exactly, it is like any attribute whether it be a physical one, mental one, or emotional one that you can read about, you can see others partaking, you can see others master but you would not be able to go out there and claim to be a master until you have experienced it and gained the knowledge of what is needed to be that master and then understood why it was important for you to take the steps you did to get to that point of total wisdom, concerning whether it be a sport or of life lesson of any kind.

Lee: Can this learning and recognizing our own self-worth, I am wondering what is the benefit? I am thinking perhaps having a better self-worth will help us to become better creators, so that as we evolve higher, we will need those creative abilities perhaps?

MSW: You are hitting one of the main lessons in why souls come to Earth. Souls come to Earth to learn everything they can about themselves. The purpose of the soul in a physical body is to learn, while they are in a physical body, that they are a soul. And as a soul that they have the same abilities to create, to manifest as Source did in splitting off from it. Once a soul recognizes that it is not unique, that it is just like every other soul who is a piece of the Source or Creator, it can then use those power because until it can accept that it has those powers, it cannot exercise its freedom of choice to use those powers.

It is in the self-realization, the self acceptance which is self-worth, claiming that they are a creator — they are a powerful person that has the same abilities as everybody else that is in the physical form, then they can start to use those powers to experience even more things while in human form. And to gain wisdom that can then be shown to others. And once they realize while in physical form who they are — that they are a divine soul, when they reach that point, which most groups call enlightenment. And once a soul , if they get to that point of enlightenment, they will then enter into service and help others get to the same point. They will help others to feel, to understand who they are.

Lee: And we spoke quite a bit about the lessons of human souls, what are the lessons that the archangels and masters are learning?

MSW: To use your term, it is very difficult, your language to always be precise in explanation. An archangel is a soul who has never taken a human form. They remain in the non-physical, assisting, aiding, and doing whatever they can to help assist the souls to experience their life lessons. What we call masters are somebody who has taken a life lesson, has come down through many incarnations, many lifetimes and learn every aspect of that particular life lesson. Say for instance a life lesson of control. Unless you have been both the master, the servant, and the slave, you are not aware of all of the aspects of control.

A master is one who has taken and in different lifetimes, experience different of the aspects, gone through to the point of having the wisdom of all of the implications of that power, or lack of power, then done the opposite. Say if they were master in one life, they will come back as slave in another life, so they can appreciate the wisdom of every type of emotions and physical demands that can be placed upon a soul in that place. Once they have had all of those experiences, and they have gained the wisdom of it, they are then a master of that life lesson.

Some masters specialize in one particular life lesson that they would then assist others with. But many many masters would master a certain life lesson and then come down and then do another life lesson, master all of the aspects of that, and choose another to come down. Those are what we call the ascended masters. They have ascended through the ranks of all of the possibilities of learning the wisdom within one life lesson and have the complete wisdom of all aspects. They then may assist others to understand and they advise others if you were to say, “I want to learn everything about hatred.”

They would then be able to counsel you before you came down to this planet, to say in order to experience that, we would suggest you try to be of a different race in an area where that race is hated. Possibly ambivalent about your sexuality in an area that is as you say, homophobic, that believes only in bisexual relationships. Possibly choosing to be a person that cannot do anything right in society as far as society goes, so that everyone else hates them.

Or on another hand, the masters may say another thing you can do is that you can be perfect in everything that you do, so that others who have not reach that perfection or cannot reach perfection, hate you for what you can do. And then you would be able to feel all of the emotions and all of the turmoils within your life that are created by those various experiences. Until you have all of those experiences, there would be something you didn’t know about hatred. A master has had the experiences to know about all there is about a particular lesson.

Chee: Do we always necessarily come to earth or can we learn our lessons elsewhere?

MSW: There are certain lessons that may be learned in other environments. But most lessons as the human learns them, are lessons that deal with the polarity – the right and the wrong, the love and the hate, the betrayal and the trust. That can only be experienced on your planet Earth because it is the only of the planets that has that duality.

If somebody wishes to experience the theoretical arguments that can be had around a subject and how to experience it, there are places where the soul may go to have those discussions with other learned people. If a soul wishes to go to a place where they want to test the physical abilities of a body or some other construct that the soul may be contained in, there are places that they can go to do that. And they are learning lessons of a type but not the lessons that we normally refer to. The lessons we normally refer to are those within that of duality, where in order to learn that lesson, you have to have choices and you have to choose between the choices by fully understanding the choices that you make.

Chee: Ok, we are going to close this topic. Do you have any closing words?

MSW: We would just say to everyone that there are many, many people that are available now, that are on the planet to help you learn your lessons, and help you realize who you are as a soul. Choose wisely, though, and we ask that you choose by going with your feelings. As we tell everyone who reads or listens to our messages, we do not expect everybody to be in the right position, in the right place to understand, or to feel, or to resonate with everything that we are saying.

No two humans are in exactly the same place in their understanding, in their learning and we would ask you only take whatever you read, whatever you hear, take it inside and see how it feels. If it makes you feel complete, it makes you feel that you have learned something, accept it and live by it until it no longer feels good to you. Because as you grow, you learn at a higher level, and the lower level no longer will feel good to you. So only accept what resonates with your being.
